Our mission is to strengthen the international position of Dutch music by building lasting connections, facilitating market access and providing the financial tools that give artists and music companies a real shot at international growth. We do not pick genres or bet on stars. We back talent and hard work.
Stichting Dutch Music Export was founded as a joint initiative of the Dutch music industry and receives structural support from Buma Stemra, Sena, Fonds Podiumkunsten, and the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken through the NL embassy and consulate network.
Three dedicated funding schemes give Dutch artists and labels the budget to take on international markets: the Kickstart Regulation for emerging talent, Showcase Support for live exposure at key global events, and the Marketing Regeling for international release campaigns.
